Education Specific Skills: Counsel students regarding educational, career or vocational issues, Counsel students regarding personal and social issues, Consult with teachers, parents, administrators and community agencies.

Co­ordinate the provision of counselling and information services to students, parents and teachers, Administer and interpret standardized intelligence, aptitude and interest tests.

Refer students to other specialized services when required, Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and workshops, Develop guidance and counselling programs.

Arrange for recruitment of graduating students by employers, Visit colleges and secondary schools to provide academic information to prospective students, their parents and educational institutions

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):

Membership in the Canadian Guidance and Counselling Association, Membership in the Canadian University and College Counselling Association, Membership in the Canadian Career Information Association.

Education:

College/CEGEP or equivalent experience Experience 7 months to less than 1 year

Languages:

Bilingual: Turkish Mandarin Tagalog Arabic
